Hot Spining

"Hot spinning" involves spinning a piece of metal on a lathe while high heat from a torch is applied to the workpiece. Once heated, the metal is then shaped as the tool on the lathe presses against the heated surface forcing it to distort as it spins. Parts can then be shaped or necked down to a smaller diameter with little force exerted, providing a seamless shoulder.

Research & Development

Repkon is an Industrial Research and Development Centre since June 2015 accredited by Republic of Turkey Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology. We aim to develop strategically important technologies for our country with our aerospace and civilian industry works under the our roof of Research & Development center. After the necessary tests and optimizations of the prototypes we have implemented in our Research & Development center have been made, machines, equipment and their production stages are manufactured.

We have been continuously improving our quality assurance system, which is certified by third-party inspection firms, since 1997. This system was renewed every time and it is audited each year according to the requirements of ISO9001 standard, which ensure a constant high quality in the development, manufacturing and customer related processes. All of our products comply with the international standards, they bear the CE mark and they satisfy the requirements of other safety and performance standards as well. Moreover, our quality system is currently under modification to fulfill the requirements of 27001 information security management system (ISMS) as well. Machines with Atex standards can be manufactured, upon request from the customer.
